Day One

Our last part-day in Athens and our arrival in Thessaloniki.

We take a 5 hour train from Athens, with beautiful views of the luscious spring scenery before checking in to our small AirBnb apartment.

Day Two

Our first proper day in Thessaloniki, we explored around the city including the iconic “White Tower”, which has now lost a lot of its namesake.

Afterwards we explore the MOMus art gallery, and the Sky Bar, before retreating from the weather to our AirBnb.

Day Three

Our third day we explored the coast of Thessaloniki, renting electric bikes to take us out of the familiar radius of our AirBnb.

We also took the very touristy, but iconic, pirate ship cruise, which lasted around 20 minutes and went around the bay. The cost of admission was buying an overpriced drink.

Day Four

Our fourth day was very active, travelling up to the higher areas of Thessaloniki for a stunning panoramic view of the city and far of mountains.

As we climbed up we got to witness the historical city walls and many other examples of ancient architecture.
