We spent almost a week in Budapest, so to avoid turning this blog post into a thesis I’ll just go over the highlights.
After our second chaotic journey of the trip, we managed to get some rest before our first planned event of Budapest.
Sparty: the spa party
The initial queue getting in was quite an event, but once in and partying it was quite smooth. The only major downside being having to get out of the heated bath to get a drink!

Exploring Budapest
The weekend we arrived was very busy due to the Easter holidays, but after they passed things got a bit less crowded.
There are countless examples of stunning architecture throughout the city, so please excuse the influx of photos of buildings.

Caving, Pinball and Ruin bars
Our last few days in Budapest were quite eventful!
The doubtless highlight of our visit to the city was exploring the caves on the Buda side of the city.
We also visited the Flippermúzeum, which houses a fantastic collection of old and new pinball machines.
Finally, to top off our Budapest visit, we attended one of the iconic ruin bars, that sprawled across multiple levels and hidden nooks.
